TALKO: Privacy

TALKO is made by Mahanga Technologies Limited.

How we use app activity

We record how the app is used:
- the screens and buttons you use;
- when you open TALKO and for how long;
- counts of items: commands, voice minutes, approvals, connected tools and team members.
We also record your email and plan.
We do this to improve the app and run Māhanga's services.
It is stored by Mahanga Technologies in New Zealand and Australia (Cloudflare).
It is never sold or shared with advertisers, and there is no cross-app tracking.
The content of your records is not included: nothing you say or type, no customer names or details, no addresses and no location.
How long we keep it:
- the click-by-click activity log: 13 months;
- the totals: 3 years.
- Both are deleted when you delete your account.
Your switch: Share app activity (Settings on iPhone, Profile on Android) is on by default.
- When it is off, the app sends no activity log.
- Server-side totals still run, for billing and abuse checks.

We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it.

You can ask your employer (the business), or us, to see or correct your personal information.
We respond within 20 working days.
You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
