For more than twenty years, Bruce Rawiri imagined building something that could create a better future for his family and, eventually, help others. The dream stayed with him through a career in the Army, the electrical trade, project management and leadership.
Discovering AI opened a practical door. Bruce began by experimenting with a simple work planner. It showed him that an ordinary person with real experience could begin turning ideas into working tools.
Doctors Journal followed a personal experience: leaving a medical appointment and realising how easy it was to forget important details. A request from a fellow electrician helped inspire Certo. As the products developed, the twenty-year ambition began to look possible.
Bruce invited his twin brother Bryan to share the journey, and Māhanga Technologies was formed in 2026. The company is still near the beginning. We are building, testing, learning and improving—one useful step at a time.
