Website privacy
Your information should be treated with care.
This notice explains what the Māhanga website collects and why. It applies to website enquiries and updates—not to the separate privacy terms of individual Māhanga products.
What we collect
If you contact us, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you submit. Newsletter subscriptions are not currently collected. We also collect limited technical and aggregated usage information needed to secure and improve the site.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, route the request to the right person and keep an accountable record. We use technical information to prevent abuse, diagnose faults and understand whether pages are useful.
What we avoid
We do not ask you to send sensitive medical or financial information through this website. We do not sell personal information. Website analytics are designed to avoid tracking people across other sites.
Storage and access
Information is held in systems controlled for Māhanga’s work. Access is limited to authorised people who need it. Records are retained only as long as there is a legitimate operational or legal reason.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw from updates, or ask a privacy question through the contact page. We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information.
New Zealand privacy rights
Māhanga Technologies Limited handles personal information under New Zealand law, including the Privacy Act 2020. You can also raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
